NITROCHEMISTRY Its produced through a process in which hydroxyl groups are converted into nitrogen groups. Then the cellulose is treated through a mixture of sulfuric acid and nitric acid.
NITROCELLULOSE This nitrocellulose drys fast. It gives wooden furniture, metal products, and cosmetics excellent protection. Type RS: Has a nitrogen content of 11.5-12.22%. Suitable for the wood, coating, paper, and painting industries. Type SS: Has a nitrogen content of 10.7-11.4%. Suitable for printing ink. SOLUTIONS Our Nitrocellulose solution series, will allow us to give our customers access to unique solutions that fit their specific needs. These solutions are made with many different grades of nitrocellulose mixed with the desired solvent.
