NITROCHEMISTRY

Its produced through a process in which hydroxyl groups are converted into nitrogen groups. Then the cellulose is treated through a mixture of sulfuric acid and nitric acid.

NITROCELLULOSE

This nitrocellulose drys fast. It gives wooden furniture, metal products, and cosmetics excellent protection.

Type RS: Has a nitrogen content of 11.5-12.22%. Suitable for the wood, coating, paper, and painting industries.

Type SS: Has a nitrogen content of 10.7-11.4%. Suitable for printing ink.
